Lodgic Everyday Community opening conceptual workspace Summer 2018 in Champaign

I am excited and honored to have been selected among nine artists to work with Lodgic Everyday Community to create artworks for their first-ever Lodgic Everyday Community in Champaign-Urbana, IL. I will be creating a multi-piece art installation (6 lenticular panels) exclusively for Lodgic Champaign.  Limited work-in-progress and behind-the-scene images will be shared on my Instagram and Facebook

“LIGHTBOX” - Featured artist
The mural titled “Subsurface” is now on view at Weiskamp Screen Printing's retail window facing Neil Street in Champaign, IL, located at 312 S Neil St.  The mural is approximately 24 ft x 10 ft (7.3 m x 3m).  For best viewing experience, walking around the window on foot is highly recommended.

The Magic Lantern

I am a Urbana Arts Grants 2018 recipient for my animation project, The Magic Lantern. The project will be partially funded by Urbana Public Arts Grants Program.  The project intends to introduce the art of animation in a series of events to a general audience via contraptions of the old and the new.  The project will feature two events in Urbana, IL showcasing my animated work and interact with the medium in public settings. Stay tuned for more info and updates on the project in the coming year.

The Fox's Wedding image is selected for Sky Gallery 2017, a public arts program, by 40 North and Adams Outdoor Advertising.  It will be featured on a 10' x 30' (3m x 9m) billboard throughout 2017 and 2018 in Central Illinois.
