Original drawing of Subsurface” has been selected and will be featured at the Busey Wealth Management's corporate headquarters in Urbana, IL as part of a rotating exhibition of artworks, 1868 Collection, a bi-annual exhibition coordinated in cooperation with 40 North, the Champaign County Arts Council. The exhibit will be on display for 6 months.

The Pecking Order illustration is selected for Sky Gallery 2018, a public arts program, by 40 North and Adams Outdoor Advertising.  It will be featured on a 10' x 30' (3m x 9m) billboard from 2018 and throughout 2019 in Champaign-Urbana area in Illinois.

Immersion Festival 2019

I will be part of Immersion Festival 2019 along with experimental.installation, sound, visual, and video artists.
"Immersion is a two­ day, multi­disciplinary experimental arts festival. The festival will incorporate two nights of main stage performances, daytime workshops on May 4th, a visual arts gallery, video art projection installations, and (as the centerpiece) a 16.2 channel sound ­dome installation..
The goals of the festival are to bring experimental art forms into an accessible format for the Champaign ­Urbana community and to act as a catalyst, encouraging artists to pursue emerging methods, formats, and mediums in their own work."

The Paper Trail show features 30 local artists and includes mediums such as screen printing, watercolor, ink, graphite, photography, digital illustration, collage, charcoal, colored pencil, block print, gouache, and mixed media.”

The Magic Lantern

I am a Urbana Arts Grants 2018 recipient for my animation project, The Magic Lantern. The Magic Lantern is an ongoing series of interactive animation projects which explore the art of animation through various, animation-viewing contraptions of the old and the new.  The Magic Lantern will showcase my animated work and interact with the medium in a live-audience demo - zoetrope, praxinoscope, turntable zoetrope, mutoscope, and contraptions I have modified for the project.
The project is in part funded by Urbana Public Arts and City of Urbana.

“LIGHTBOX” - Featured artist
The mural titled “Subsurface” is now on view at Weiskamp Screen Printing's retail window facing Neil Street in Champaign, IL, located at 312 S Neil St.  The mural is approximately 24 ft x 10 ft (7.3 m x 3m).  For best viewing experience, walking around the window on foot is highly recommended.

Murals at Stratton Academy of the Arts
I will be collaborating with Amanda Danowitz, along with talented, young students from Mr. Casey Kashnig's Art Studio class at Stratton Elementary School on a mural project. The mural design is based on my “Audition” illustration that I have modified to accommodate younger students to work with.  New character designs have also been added to better represent the school's artistic and creative environment.  The murals will cover multiple walls that span 83 feet (23 meters) in total width. Stratton is an arts magnet school which specializes in visual and performing arts.

I have been selected and will be one of the artists exhibiting at the 4th annual Urbana Art Expo which will take place during 9/15 Saturday and 9/16 Sunday.  New works and prints will be available for viewing and/or for purchase.  Established by Urbana City Council, the Urbana Public Arts Program and Commission and 40 North: Champaign County Arts Council jointly sponsor the annual Urbana Art Expo, a juried fine art sale and exhibition held at the Urbana Civic Center. 10% of all sales will go to Urbana Public Arts Program.
